in progress" page for my 1967 VW Beetle restoration project.

manner until the car is completed.
Mission Statement
I thought it might
be fun to bring a car completely back from the dead using only
my common sense and on a reasonable budget. It was important to
me that I would perform all the work to the best of my abilities,
by asking questions and reading books. If I wanted a perfect car,
I would have bought one. I picked this 1967 bug up from a neat
German guy near my home town in Niagara. As Dave Homer will attest
to, it was really a serious project. My original goal was to be
driving it by the May 24th weekend of 2001, but that turned out
to be unrealistic. The car finally was licensed to drive in early
June 2002. The restoration continues as I find the time and money
to continue.
